Via Airlines expands service and fleet in partnership with PASS Charters

Because of their unique positions in the industry, Via Airlines and PASS sought each other out and combined their efforts in recognition of their mutual strengths.
MAITLAND, FLA. – Independent air carrier Via Airlines, a leading provider of flight services, has announced it will be expanding its existing partnership with PASS Charters, which will focus on servicing collegiate sports team travel needs nationwide. Founded in 1997, Via Airlines has continued to maintain an impressive dispatch rate of over 98% and has earned an ARGUS Gold rating for its safety. PASS Charters has been catering to sports team travel needs since 2004. As a result of this expanded partnership and other business ventures, Via Airlines has grown its existing fleet of 30 passenger EMB-120 aircraft with the addition of nine new ERJ-145 planes. Via Airlines Group has directly purchased five of the planes with the remaining under lease.

We are very excited for all of the opportunities this partnership with PASS offers,” said Irit Vizer, President and COO of Via Airlines. “At Via Airlines, we still believe that air service is not just a means of transportation. Which is why we promise our clients exemplary level personal service. Our team of professionals understands that client satisfaction is critical to successful flight operations. Our long lasting partnership with PASS is continuing to grow and increases both of our abilities to provide exceptional charter services to universities across the country.

Partnering with Via Airlines is an outstanding opportunity, both for PASS and for Via,” said Sue Pavlak, COO of PASS Charters. “Both companies excel at providing top-level charter services for collegiate sports teams, which is why we chose to expand our partnership with Via Airlines. They are one of the best in the industry and have always provided us and our clients with excellent service. Working together will give clients the best from both companies. It’s a win-win situation for the schools and we’re all very pleased to be able to provide this level of service.

Because of their unique positions in the industry, Via Airlines and PASS sought each other out and combined their efforts in recognition of their mutual strengths. After several years of partnership, this improved exclusive partnership for the collegiate travel market between Via Airlines and PASS will result in a crew of dedicated, experienced professionals who understand the unique needs of traveling sports teams. PASS provides logistics solutions to their clients, while providing a high level of customer service. Their degree of service includes immediate alerts to team personnel with changes to flight status and weather conditions.
