MyRoomIn launches boutique online hotel room search and booking platform

World’s first online luxury collection of boutique hotel rooms that helps consumers find and book the exact hotel room uniquely suited to their personality and needs.
PARIS – MyRoomIn, a search and booking platform of the world’s first luxury collection of boutique hotel rooms, announced its launch along with 800K euros in seed funding led by the Impala Group. Launching first in the Paris market, every hotel room featured on MyRoomIn includes exclusive photos and information collected by local travel and hotel experts who have personally vetted every room and the surrounding area. Rooms can be searched and refined using over 125 different search criteria – from free wifi, room size, concierge services, dining hours, food allergies and more – guaranteeing travelers book their perfect room every time. MyRoomIn presents only the most exceptional rooms in each of the hotels they list. They also guarantee the best rate available at the time of reservation with no reservation fees, and that travelers will get the exact room they choose during the booking process – not a substitution. MyRoomIn plans to expand into the London and Rome markets by the end of 2015.

MyRoomIn was created to alleviate the uncertainty that often comes with booking a hotel room. Many websites offer hotel search, but none offer search down to the specific room type without regard to the hotel. Travelers can now skip the process of searching for hundreds of hotels and room categories, and no longer have to ask themselves, ‘Are the online room photos a true representation of the room where I’ll stay? Will it have the same view? What will the actual decor look like?’ Now they can search for and book the perfect hotel room, and know with confidence that it is the exact room they’ll stay in upon arrival,” said Jeremie Manigne, CEO and co-founder of MyRoomIn.

All rooms are scrutinized for their special qualities and highly screened before they are listed on the MyRoomIn website. Local MyRoomIn travel experts and photographers personally visit every room, take pictures, get the story behind the room and hotel, interview the manager, and curate extensive lists of hotel and room amenities. The gathered information is then compiled, categorized, and placed into a collection of the best rooms in the city, allowing discerning travelers to search for a hotel room down to the most niche details.

MyRoomIn has created unique lifestyle themes for each city and decoration themes for each room, which along with the other array of criteria can help travelers narrow down their search. For example, MyRoomIn Paris has nine different lifestyle categories including: Historic, Hip, Glamorous, Garden, Elegant, Mythical, Panorama, Artsy, and Bohemian, each with their own description of what makes them unique, plus a glimpse into the local neighborhoods.

Included in each room listing are favorite neighborhood locales – to-die-for restaurants, secret gardens, hidden streets, special shops, etc. – hand-curated by collaboration between the hotel and the local experts at MyRoomIn. Travelers can feel like a native and experience the city’s true soul with inside knowledge into special neighborhood spaces and places.

“Now they can search for and book the perfect hotel room, and know with confidence that it is the exact room they’ll stay in upon arrival,” said Jeremie Manigne, CEO and co-founder of MyRoomIn.
