Global Taxi Apps Network expands in Middle East

The Global Taxi Network is a partnership of taxi industry federations and taxi app providers, whose objective is to promote legal, reliable, high quality and safe services to taxi customers, by making use of the latest smartphone technology in full respect of the regulatory framework in force.
ATHENS – IRU warmly welcomes a new high quality partner to its Global Taxi Network. Allo Taxi, operating in Lebanon is the latest partner to join IRU’s network providing high quality, safe, and legal taxi services to customers.
 
Hubert Andela, President of the IRU Taxi Group, said, “With Allo Taxi app joining our Global Taxi Network, our goal to extend the global service coverage of the Global Taxi Network has taken another leap forward. I look forward to working with them and integrating them into a harmonised global network

In July 2014, Allo Taxi launched the first mobile application in Lebanon and a major part of our bookings have shifted from the call center to the mobile application booking.
 
The Global Taxi Network is a partnership of taxi industry federations and taxi app providers, whose objective is to promote legal, reliable, high quality and safe services to taxi customers, by making use of the latest smartphone technology in full respect of the regulatory framework in force. Launched to the industry less than a year ago, the network already operates on 5 continents encompassing more than 250,000 taxis worldwide, with on average 30,000 taxis added to its partners’ fleets every month.
