Travel Bloggers Greece (TBG) participated in the first Travel Bloggers Exchange (TBEX) Asia 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. Τhe event took place on October 15-17, almost one year following the TBEX Europe 2014 events in Athens.
Elena Sergeeva, co-founder of TBG, represented the first Greece-based blogger network, joining more than 600 travel bloggers and writers from around the globe. The presence of the conference in Bagkok helped promote the “Discover Thainess” tourism campaign.
“TBG’s members are committed to improving their blogs and helping to promote a positive image of Greece. Events such as TBEX are a great opportunity to gain new insights on the latest travel blogging trends, learn new practices and to connect with professionals from around the world,” said Sergeeva who publishes a travel blog called Passion for Greece and PassionforHospitality

To continue growing the TBG’s international reach in the blogging industry, Rebecca Hall of Life Beyond Borders blog and TBG founding member, will be representing the professional networking group at the World Travel Market in London from November 2-5.
Travel Bloggers Greece members have attended several familiarization trips since the professional networking group was established at the start of 2015. Several TBG members recently traveled to Bergamo, Italy for a blogger tour sponsored by Visit Bergamo. In Greece, TBG members have attended trips to Kea, Zakynthos and the Montanema Handmade Village near Lake Plastiras. TBG has also participated in tours and restaurants reviews in Athens. The social media posts, travel writing and travel photography that has been shared online as a result of each sponsored trip and event has helped to promote tourism in Greece. Travel Bloggers Greece is the first professional network of travel bloggers established in Greece. Members are both Greeks and expats based in Greece that blog about Greek travel and culture.
