World Leisure Holidays expands portfolio to include affordable yet quality holiday packages

WLH has built on its expertly collated collection, expanding its core offerings in Mauritius and the Maldives to include more hotels. They have also added Reunion Island, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Mozambique, completing the Indian Ocean Islands portfolio.

World Leisure Holidays (WLH), a Sun Resorts Company (Sun), has since its inception in 1991, become a revered Southern African outbound tour operator, offering clients unforgettable and elite holiday packages to remarkable destinations such as Mauritius, the Bahamas and the Maldives.

The company is now expanding its portfolio by offering a wider array of exceptional holiday destinations to clients. The new selection incorporates a blend of exciting options which are discerningly and exclusively selected to maintain uncompromising quality and affordable luxury standards, the two most important value propositions of the WLH brand.

WLH has built on its expertly collated collection, expanding its core offerings in Mauritius and the Maldives to include more hotels. They have also added Reunion Island, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Mozambique, completing the Indian Ocean Islands portfolio.

The assortment of holiday products available through WLH, now also includes Dubai in the Middle East. Dubai has become a holiday destination in its own right and the company is experiencing a big demand for holiday packages there. WLH also investigated Abu Dhabi as a holiday destination and is delighted to have crafted exceptionally high quality, affordable holiday packages for its Southern African clients.

“We’re taking the next step in offering South Africans a wider variety of destinations in affordable, yet luxury holiday travel. Our wider arrangement of packages offer clients a more diverse variety of opportunities to experience resort holidays that will be remembered for a lifetime,” says Johann Strydom.

Sharing travel experiences through the holiday packages WLH creates, is a passion for Johann Strydom, Managing Director of WLH whose CV includes executive posts at Cullinan Holdings, Thompsons Travel, Multichoice and SA Breweries. His current position at WLH gives him an informed viewpoint of the South African’s tourism market’s drive to meet new growth targets in an era of tighter spending. Strydom’s passion for travel translates into his ability to encourage clients to astutely choose and tailor their holiday packages. He calls it the halo effect. The better the halo, the better the memories.

Having been fortunate to have travelled extensively, Johann believes that travel broadens one’s perceptions and gives perspective to daily life. He says, “Travel adds colour and weaves a rich cultural tapestry. I personally love to maximise travel time, as I believe that the real ‘cost’ of travel is quality time at your holiday destination. We normally only have a few days a year to travel and should see it as an investment in our lifestyle, enriching our lives.”

Travellers seeking their ultimate holiday, whether it be in Mauritius, Reunion Island or Dubai, WLH has exceptional packages to suit their specific needs. Take Reunion Island’s Hotel Le Juliette Dodu for example. This affordable and enchanting 3 star hotel is located on the northern coast of Reunion in the historic city of Saint – Denis and offers guests a unique perspective of island life with unmatchable island hospitality.  An adventure holiday with French overtures.

Those considering exploring the exquisite beauty of the Seychelles Islands need look no further than Le Meridien Fisherman’s Cove, a luxurious 4 star boutique hotel, nestled at the very end of Beau Vallon Bay in Mahe. The hotel boasts a balance of elegance and casual style to ensure that all guests feel completely at home.

In Dubai, located at the top of the Palm is one of the world’s most spectacular resort hotels, Atlantis the Palm. It is a journey of discovery in itself, the resort is constantly surprising and delighting its guests on its own expanse of beach.

“If you want to lie on the beach and read a book, explore the local cuisine on offer or feel pampered at the spa, WLH offers well-known, well respected and exclusive brands. We have a special connection with all the hotels we represent and package, ensuring that each holiday is irreplaceable and out-of-this-world,” concludes Strydom.

WLH not only caters to the needs of its leisure holiday clients but prides itself in its ability to successfully arrange all manner of group bookings including; incentive groups, conferences, weddings and sports tours. They have a carefully selected portfolio of hotels in each destination that can create any ambiance to suit the need of a corporate, family, or wedding group, having arranged packages from groups of 16 to in excess of 1000 people.
