Oveedia books first reservation for affiliate hotel during Beta test

New central American-Caribbean Online Travel Agency secures first revenue.

LAS VEGAS – Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc., parent company of the Central American-Caribbean online travel agency, Oveedia, announced that Oveedia successfully reserved its first booking for an affiliate hotel, during ongoing tests of the platform’s search engine and booking conversions.

“This is a very exciting time for a number of reasons,” stated Melvin Pereira, President & CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions. “First, we’ve secured Oveedia’s first revenues for 2015. Second, this is an international reservation, which proves that we are already reaching global travelers. And lastly, while there is still a bit more work to be done before transitioning from just ‘search’, over to ‘search & book’, because we are a bona-fide travel agency, we can handle booking reservations for any Affiliate hotels listed; or any property in our inventory for that matter. We are on the right track!”

The reservation was secured for a traveler visiting Costa Rica in December 2015, from Lubeck, Germany. The three day stay at the Playa Escondida Lodge, serves as a great benefit to the company.

Affiliated properties, such as the Playa Escondida Lodge and Tango Mar, produce a much greater revenue stream for Oveedia than ‘referral’ reservation income, made from Sabre’s $7 Billion Travel Network family inventory; “roughly 30x more,” commented Pereira. Also, working with Oveedia Affiliates, allows management a much easier time alpha testing the booking feature.

Mr. Pereira concluded, “This is just the beginning! We expect to make just a handful more reservations during this testing period before enabling the booking engine. This gives us the opportunity to prove to hotel Affiliates that we can fully deliver the exposure they desire, while working towards proving Oveedia’s revenue model and ensuring the platforms stability.”

Management indicated that the test of Oveedia’s search engine integrity is nearing completion and that the Company is all too excited about soon enabling the booking feature.
