Tourico Holidays expands its Latin American presence to meet growing demand for business and leisure travel

Tourico Holidays increases year-to-date LATAM sales by 70%.

ORLANDO, FL – Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, announced that it has increased its overall sales of Latin American inventory by 70 percent year-to-date. To continue its growth in this burgeoning travel market, Tourico also announced that it is increasing the size of its team in Latin America – and that it is hosting a series of partner workshops for travel suppliers throughout the region.

A number of hotels, airlines, car rental companies, vacation homes, activities and transfer businesses throughout the Latin American region currently utilize Tourico to distribute their inventory through its global network of independent travel agents and resellers. Tourico has 25 employees in offices stationed in Cancun, Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Argentina and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company plans to dedicate another 15 employees in Latin America by January 2016. By introducing additional personnel and new partner resources, Tourico plans to increase sales in the Latin American region by 80% in 2016.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen where additional support for our travel supplier partners throughout the Latin American region can significantly boost sales and increase opportunities for revenue growth,” said Matias Elisavetsky, the Vice President of Sales and Product in Latin America for Tourico Holidays. “By dedicating even more personnel and introducing unique programs to the region, we can help our partners generate even greater visibility among travelers worldwide and reach unprecedented levels of success.”

Tourico recently launched a series of workshops for hotel suppliers in Latin America that are designed to provide insight on Tourico travel products and share best practices for growing sales. Workshops were recently held in Sao Paulo, Bogota, Rio de Janeiro, Natal, and Mexico City, where Tourico executives presented to the more than 60 hoteliers in attendance at each, introducing new products and strategies for growth. Partner workshops will commence again in March 2016, in Santiago de Chile and Buenos Aires.
