LISBON – French group 9Hotel Collection oficially presents its first hotel in Lisbon – 9HOTEL MERCY, conveniently located in the heart of Lisbon’s historic centre. Rebuilt in 2012, and purchased by the 9Hotel Collection group in January 2015, the hotel’s historic building is perfectly situated between bohemian Bairro Alto and luxury Chiado, within walking distance to all main points of interest in the city fitting in with the Group’s guidelines: charming renovated and original concepts in the centre of European cities.

With an independent entrance to the 9HOTEL MERCY Hotel, the existent Hotel Bar launches simultaneously with a new branding and concept – Double9 – a Tea Cocktail Bar with two distinct ideas – a modern tea bar to enjoy a relaxing Afternoon Tea and an evening Tea Cocktail bar where one can indulge in Tea cocktails, made of a blend of tea infusions.
“The Tea Cocktail Bar concept is a fusion of two world’s: cocktails and tea. Consumers travel around the world in a journey of unique flavours and aromas resulting from the blend of tea and cocktails. Featuring cocktails with elaborated techniques we are dedicated to creating exclusive experiences and new sensations,” says Rodrigo Silva Gomes, Normajean’s CEO.
Guests will be able to try out the amazing tea cocktails created by cocktail consultants Liquid who developed the cocktail menu inspired by techniques gathered from around the world. Some of the available cocktails are: Cosmotwist, Russian Spring, Double9 amongst others. In total, there is a menu of 18 Cocktails with and without alcohol.
This signature space brings together, stunning interiors designed by renowned Portuguese interior designer Nini Andrade da Silva and innovative architecture by Miguel Saraiva.
