After a $200 million redevelopment, Washington, D.C.’s iconic Old Post Office will be reborn as one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. The heart of the hotel will be the Cortile, a nine-story atrium that will serve as the hotel’s gathering place. It will include the OPO Bar & Lounge as well as the property’s signature restaurant, BLT Prime. Diners will enjoy exquisite cuisine overlooking the 315-foot Clock Tower, which houses the official United States Bells of Congress, commissioned by the Ditchley Foundation as a Bicentennial gift to the United States.
