After a $200 million redevelopment, Washington, D.C.’s iconic Old Post Office will be reborn as one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. Original details such as elaborate stonework and wood milling have been preserved while adding the latest in technology and upscale comforts expected by today’s discerning guests.

Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C. will feature 263 guestrooms including 35 suites, all among the largest luxury rooms in the city. Plentiful natural light and 16-foot ceilings will add to the spacious feeling. The oversized queen-queen rooms are particularly appealing for families. Rooms will offer guests panoramic views of the Washington, D.C. skyline, and will feature original solid wood doors, wainscoting and paneling. Bathrooms include six-foot soaking tubs, marble, brass hardware and chandeliers.

The hotel’s suites include three Presidential-level suites of at least 2,000 square feet. The showstopper will be the Trump Townhouse, the largest and most luxurious suite in Washington, D.C. and among the biggest in the country.  The suite is a bi-level 6,300-square-foot enclave complete with its own Pennsylvania Avenue address.

The heart of the hotel will be the Cortile, a nine-story atrium that will serve as the hotel’s gathering place. It will include the OPO Bar & Lounge as well as the property’s signature restaurant, BLT Prime. Diners will enjoy exquisite cuisine overlooking the 315-foot Clock Tower, which houses the official United States Bells of Congress, commissioned by the Ditchley Foundation as a Bicentennial gift to the United States.

Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C. will feature several other unique offerings. The flagship Spa by IVANKA TRUMP will house a 10,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. Therapists will provide signature and custom treatments in six rooms, offering priority appointments for hotel guests. With a private entrance, the 13,200-square-foot, column-free Presidential Ballroom will be the largest luxury ballroom in Washington, D.C.
