ALHI expands its worldwide portfolio with two luxury hotels in Paris

Associated Luxury Hotels International expands Western European options to 18 Hotels & Resorts.

WASHINGTON, DC (February 2016) – Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has expanded its worldwide portfolio and European options with the addition of two luxury-level hotels in Paris. The popular and meetings-focused the Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe, Paris and the elegant boutique hotel Les Jardins du Marais, Paris have been accepted as the newest Members of ALHI’s luxury portfolio. Both hotels are part of The Gate Collection, joining sister property The Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. (scheduled for opening in March 2016), which is already a Member in ALHI’s portfolio. With Membership the two hotels have authorized ALHI to represent them to the North American M.I.C.E. (meetings, incentives, conferences/conventions, and exhibitions) marketplace. The announcement was made by Jim Schultenover, president of ALHI.

Excellent Time to Support Paris with M&I Programs
“We are very pleased to expand our relationship with The Gate Collection team, and very proud to now represent these outstanding Parisian hotels to the North American Meetings & Incentive marketplace,” said Schultenover. “There couldn’t be a better time to support the incredible city of Paris. ‘The City of Light’ is a tremendous destination, with enormous appeal for groups and attendees, and it is very important that the American market rallies and supports Paris now, just like we supported New York City and New Orleans, with our meetings, conventions and incentive travel programs following their impactful incidents. Additionally, considering currency changes over the past two years compared to the U.S. dollar, Paris is on sale by over 20%! We look forward to showcasing these very fine hotels and their truly vibrant and sophisticated city of Paris to the M.I.C.E. marketplace.”

Featuring a prime location facing the chic Parc Monceau, just minutes from the Arc de Triomphe, the Five-Star the Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe, Paris also is just a short walk to the renowned Avenue des Champs Elysees and the prestigious boutiques and art galleries of Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore. Situated in a prominent historic neighborhood known for its mansions, art and architecture, the elegant hotel features 478 luxurious guest rooms and suites, and 18,300 square feet of meeting space (which can accommodate events for up to 650 people). An authentic tribute to the elegance of the 1930s, Hotel du Collectionneur features stylish Art Deco decor, a majestic staircase, lush gardens, and exquisite sculptures. Unique meeting and event spaces include the beautifully landscaped Andalusian-style garden and patio. The hotel also features the upscale Le Saffron Restaurant, The Mosaic Spa, The Purple Bar, and a business center. The hotel is just 30 minutes from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Paris Orly Airport.

Les Jardins du Marais.

Situated in the historic and glamorous Marais district, on a picturesque cobbled street, the Four-Star Les Jardins du Marais, Paris provides an extraordinary residential haven in the heart of Paris. Built around scenic private Mediterranean-style gardens, the charming hotel features 263 rooms and suites (beautifully renovated in 2009), and more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space (consisting of 11 meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 450 guests). Plus, the hotel offers an additional 16,000 square feet of event space in the large garden (one of the largest open-air hotel gardens in Paris). Featuring a chic lobby with marble floors and a glass roof, the hotel also has the La Table des Jardins restaurant, a spa, fitness center, bar, business center, 24-hour concierge, room service, complimentary wireless internet throughout, limousine service, and a private parking garage.
