The Government of Croatia announced that 8.07 million tourists visited Croatia during the first 10 months of 2002 a 6% increase over the same period in 2001. Overnight stays increased by 3%. German, French, Israeli, and British arrivals increased by 14%, 83%, 44%, and 24%, respectively.
