Delta customers affected by hurricane Katrina may change travel plans without penalties or fees
Delta Air Lines` customers booked on flights traveling to or from select cities in the Gulf Coast region may make adjustments to their travel schedule due to the continued impact of Hurricane Katrina. Delta has proactively cancelled some flights because of the storm, and is currently working to assist customers with their travel plans.

Impacted cities include the following (note: cities may change):

Customers who have purchased tickets by Aug. 27, 2005, and are scheduled to travel Aug. 27-Sept. 6, 2005, to, from or through New Orleans and Gulfport on Delta, Song(r), Delta Connection(r), or Delta-coded flights, may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by Sept. 6, 2005, and travel begins on or before Sept. 6, 2005. Customers who have purchased tickets by Aug. 27, 2005, and are scheduled to travel Aug. 27-Aug. 31, 2005, to, from or through Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Jackson, Lafayette, Meridian, Monroe, Mobile, Pensacola, Panama City and Fort Walton Beach may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by Sept. 6, 2005, and travel begins on or before Sept. 6, 2005.

Customers may fly prior to their original departure time without penalty, and those whose flights are cancelled may request refunds.

Changes to origins and destinations may result in a fare increase, and any fare difference between the original and new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking. Vicky Karantzavelou - Wednesday, August 31, 2005
