Carpatair routes development plan for 2006 starts with a new destination in Lviv, Ukraine
The increasing number of foreign investors from Western European countries together with a huge number of Ukrainian workers abroad was two important elements which determined Carpatair management in taking the decision for opening regular flights to Ukraine.
Extending its route network to the Ukrainian region, Carpatair makes a major step in linking EastEurope with Western European countries.
As of 23rd of January, the passengers can travel point-to-point Lviv-Timisoara-Lviv or continue their journey through Timisoara HUB to all Carpatair Italian and German destinations.
The flights with a modern Saab 2000 will leave each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Lviv and arrive in Timisoara.
The return flights will leave Timisoara each Monday, Wednesday and Friday and arrive in Lviv. Beginning with 25th of March the flights will be daily operated except Sundays.
Carpatair has developed its own wave HUB at Timisoara, making possible in this way the links between its all 9 Romanian operational points by daily flights towards 8 destinations in Italy (Rome,,Florence, Turin, Verona, Ancona, Bologna, Milan-Bergamo) and 3 destinations in Germany (Munich, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf).
