Travelport signs ground-breaking content agreement with JetBlue Airways
Travelport, delivering corporate travel services with online technology, announced it has reached an agreement with JetBlue Airways that offers all of Travelport`s U.S.-based corporate customers exclusive access to JetBlue`s full inventory, delivered directly and seamlessly online. The agreement also provides access to JetBlue fares for Galileo`s Travelport resellers.
Travelport is now one of only two online booking tools to which JetBlue distributes its content, said Dean Sivley, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Travelport I Orbitz for Business.
We are delighted that JetBlue has agreed to extend its distribution to corporations through this ground-breaking agreement with Travelport and are extremely pleased to help our clients enjoy the simplicity, convenience and great service that JetBlue is known for. This agreement in particular, underscores the value and efficiency of our corporate marketplace to suppliers worldwide and puts our Travelport customers in an extremely competitive position.
By booking all their travel in one place and within corporate policy, corporate travelers save time, eliminate hassles, and stretch their travel spend. Through this agreement, Travelport is one of only two major corporate booking tools that offer JetBlue content in their corporate booking solution.
JetBlue recognizes the value of Travelport`s distribution channel and the high yield corporate customers it serves, said Brett Cochran, manager, Sales Development, JetBlue Airways. We view Travelport as a strategic partner to help us grow our corporate business, and we feel this deal is beneficial for JetBlue, Travelport and most importantly, our mutual corporate customers.
