JFK`s terminal 4 adds Czech Airlines
Czech Airlines has announced that it has moved its operations to Terminal 4 at New York’s JFK International Airport and began service from the terminal on May 1, 2006. The airline is the latest to move its operations to the only privately-operated terminal at JFK.
Czech, formerly a tenant of Terminal 3, will continue to offer daily flights to Prague. “Shifting our operation to Terminal 4 will enable us to continue serving our passengers with the highest level of service and comfort. Terminal 4 offers quality amenities and room for growth in the future,” said Pavel Sarf, general manager for North America for Czech Airlines.
Czech recently completed a large fleet renewal. Its fleet is made up of three types of aircraft, the Airbus A310-300, with a capacity of 209 passengers for long-distance flights, the Boeing 737 for European routes and the Middle East and ATR airplanes for short-distance flights.
The airline offers service in two traveling classes, Business and Travel on all regular flights. The flights to and from New York’s JFK will offer both classes.
“Our commitment to providing individual attention to each and every passenger, especially on our long distance flights, will continue to be strong as we move our operations to Terminal 4 at JFK,” added Mr. Sarf. “In fact, Terminal 4’s clean and passenger-friendly facility will create a more enjoyable travel experience for our passengers.”
“We are confident Czech will be pleased with our commitment to customer service for passengers and will be comfortable in their new home at Terminal 4,” said Janice Holden, vice president of marketing and business development for JFK IAT, LLC. “We’re pleased to welcome Czech to the family of airlines here at T4 and to add another destination to our roster of more than 37 countries served by our airlines.”
