Virgin Nigeria launces flights between Lagos and Dubai
Virgin Nigeria, the fully private sector airline of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, launched thrice weekly services between Lagos and Dubai. Flights will operate from Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos departing on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and arriving at Dubai International Airport the next day.

Conrad Clifford, Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Nigeria commented: “We are delighted to be flying the Nigerian flag to Dubai, which is the third long haul destination to be added to our route network in under a year of operation. Dubai is a major business centre and popular holiday destination and we are sure that our passengers will enjoy the high quality service and world class product that Virgin Nigeria offers. Passengers can also take advantage of convenient onward connections to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano and other West African routes.”

All Virgin Nigeria flights between Lagos and Dubai will be operated by Virgin Nigeria’s A340-300 aircraft. The launch of services to Dubai brings the number of destinations operated by Virgin Nigeria to 12 in just under a year of operation. Vicky Karantzavelou - Monday, June 05, 2006
