Entries grow for EIBTM Awards
The EIBTM 2007 Meeting and Incentive Industry Awards have received a record number of entries this year with agencies submitting events from corporate clients such as Vodaphone, BT, Honda, BMW, L’Oreal, Mercedes, Barclays Bank and Porsche.

These awards recognise the contribution, creativity and dedication of meetings and incentives professionals enabling them to achieve global recognition and exposure for their outstanding events and campaigns. The 6 categories will reward excellence, innovation, creativity and skill across all events and marketing campaigns.

This year marks the introduction of a new Best Special Event category to recognise the most imaginative and impactful stand alone events from awards ceremonies to charity events. This award has received the most entries of all award categories for 2007.

Judging will take place on the 18th October by an international panel of EIBTM Awards Media Partners from within the meetings and incentives industry and will be chaired by industry expert Jeremy Garbett.

Winners will be announced at EIBTM during a special Award Ceremony.

The WorldWide Technology Watch (WWTW) competition has also received a record number of entries from 40 different companies and forms part of EIBTM’s focus on new technology solutions for the meetings industry. The competition is dedicated to discovering the latest technological innovations that will have a positive impact on meetings, events, incentive travel, conferences and exhibitions.

The judging will take place on the 1st October by a Judging Panel which includes; Corbin Ball, CMP, Corbin Ball Associates, USA; Martin Sirk, CEO, ICCA- Amsterdam; Didier Scaillet, Vice President of Global Development, MPI, Luxembourg; Paul Hussey, Managing Director, Olive 360, UK; Charles Robinson, Director, Eventuality Solutions, UK and Mike Southon, Founder, Beermat.biz, UK.
