Hotusa adds 19 new associated hotels during August and September
The chain of independent hotels belonging to the Hotusa Group has added to its portfolio seven establishments at international level and twelve on Spanish territory

Hotusa Hotels have increased their portfolio during the months of August and September with the addition of 19 new associated establishments, thus reasserting their position amongst the major hotel consortiums in the world. Twelve of these new hotels included in the Hotusa portfolio are to be found in Spain, while the remaining seven form part of the international network.

During these two months, seven international establishments have joined the list: in Italy (6) and Mexico (1). On national territory, the new acquisitions are spread over the regional communities of Valencia (3), Extremadura (3), Andalusia (2), Castile & Leon (2), Madrid (1) and Cantabria (1).

Hotusa’s portfolio in Italy, where a consolidated presence had already been achieved, has been enlarged with the three-star Hotel Romea Comfort, the four-star Hotel Cube Excellence (Ravenna) and the four-star Hotel Masini Premier (Forli), all located in the region of Emilia-Romagna; the three-star Hotel Piazza Venezia Comfort (Rome), the four-star el H2C Basic (Caserta, in the region of Campania); plus the four-star Hotel Giorgone Excellence, located in the city of Venice.

The objective of the organization is to enlarge and diversify its portfolio with the addition of hotels both in the traditional destinations as well as in the emerging tourist markets on a worldwide scale. In this context, the Hotusa Group added to the list last January its first associated hotel in China, recently having added a second establishment.

The company has plans to continue the expansion on the continent of Asia over the following months, with new additions in China - given the enormous tourist interest that this destination arouses as host to the 2008 Olympic Games – as well as in India and other South-East Asian countries.

In addition to the Asian debut, Hotusa Hotels have made their entrance throughout this year in another of the tourist areas with the greatest growth expectations: The Balkans. In May, the first associated establishment in Montenegro was included, while in June Croatia was added to the list, with no less than five hotels. Rania Deimezi - Thursday, October 04, 2007
