Partners Software develops payment engine for LCCs
Bremen-based IT company Partners Software has developed a payment engine for low-cost flights. In addition to credit cards, the system also processes debit cards, invoices, direct bank debits and agency debits. The new payment engine allows for as many credit cards to be preset for booking flights and services as required. Partners Software manages these credit-card pools for both travel agencies and tour operators.

Partners Software has developed its payment engine for all LOW.FARE system users, who either purchase low-cost flights themselves or on behalf of their clients, thus cannot use the traveler’s credit card for payment. This new solution works for paying low-cost carriers and other flight providers via credit cards.

According to the company, Partners Software new payment engine is primarily designed for tour operators and tour-operating travel agencies.

Wolfgang Brinker, Managing Director of Partners Software explains: “In addition to the individual booking service, subsequent processes are imperative today. The more efficient a booking is, the more process costs decline.
