5. Types of Accommodation
Düsseldorf offers a wide and attractive range of different accommodation options. Nearly 19,000 beds available for guests can be found in very different places – from a simple room in a small guesthouse, to a simple, medium or deluxe hotel.

Specialities are design hotels in the MediaHarbour area, certain hotels downtown as well as the three luxury hotels, Steigenberger Parkhotel, InterContinental and Breidenbacher Hof (opening spring 2008), right in the heart of Düsseldorf’s city centre. Even more than 900 small B&B homestays can house guests. Those are frequently requested by guests joining large trade fairs in town.
