AirPlus enters into strategic partnership in Korea
AirPlus International, provider of global business travel payment solutions has entered into a strategic partnership with Korea Exchange Bank (KEB). Together with KEB, AirPlus will now offer corporates in Korea the AirPlus Corporate Card, which business travellers can use to settle expenses incurred during business trips.

According to the company, with the introduction of the AirPlus Corporate Card in conjunction with KEB, AirPlus can provide its AirPlus Company Account clients in Korea with a totally integrated travel payment offer. Whilst AirPlus already provides both credit and settlement facilities and data management to its Korean clients, the new corporate card completes the offer.

“We are extremely pleased about our new cooperation with KEB. The decision to partner with AirPlus clearly demonstrates KEB’s commitment to its customers’ needs by offering them a more sophisticated travel payment solution,” said Yael Klein, Managing Director of AirPlus International Ltd.

“The partnership with KEB is important to our continued growth in Asia and will critically move us toward our goal of becoming the preferred global provider for integrated payment and analysis solutions by 2012,” added Klein.

“Mutual cooperation between KEB as a provider of utmost corporate card services and AirPlus as a leading provider of global business travel payment solutions especially in Europe is a wonderful opportunity to take a step forward through synergy,” said Kevin W. Kneebone, Managing Director of the Credit Card Division of KEB.
