GoQuo secures deal with JTA Travel Group
A range of technology solutions and services from online and dynamic packaging specialist GoQuo has been chosen by JTA Travel Group, theBirmingham-based flight consolidator business. GoQuo will implement hotel and flight booking engines as well as dynamic packaging and distribution technologies.
Through B2C and B2B web sites and call centres, JTA provides both public and trade customer access to thousands of airfares available from hundreds of airlines, as well as hotel accommodation, car rental, transfers and tours.
For JTA, GoQuo will customise, implement and support a B2C and B2B hotel booking engine connected to accommodation suppliers, as well as its GQConsol flight booking engine which enhances fare management and distribution, reduces call centre costs, and maximises sales and profits.
It will be integrated with GQDynamic, GoQuo’s dynamic packaging software.
JTA managing director Wayne Darrock said: “We knew we had to get more out the technology that underpins our business, and felt that GoQuo had a real understanding of our business, how it worked and how technology could make it bigger, better and more profitable. With its excellent client list and references, GoQuo’s partnership approach was reassuring, to say the least.”
Ron Ramanan, GoQuo founder and managing director, said he was ‘thrilled to get the JTA business’, adding “We’ve built our reputation on designing and delivering technology that builds the reputation of travel businesses in the UK and abroad The JTA win marks an excellent start to our year in the UK.”
