In April, 2007, over 1,500 teachers from more than 70 countries attended the 41st International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL) Annual Conference and Exhibition. The event took place in various places around the city and the AECC's in-house exhibition and AV/IT teams provided all AV and additional services. The organizers we thrilled with the outcome and could not have been more pleased with Aberdeen. "IATEFL would like to thank the AECC for all they did to make our conference a terrific success. 2008 looks to be just as promising with: Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland Annual Conference & Exhibition, March 10-13; VisitScotland Expo, April 16-17; All-Energy '08, May 21-22; SPE Fourth International Conference on Oilfield Corrosion, May 27; SPE International Conference on Oilfield Scale, May 28; The Ladies Circle International Conference 2008, August 28-September 1; and Food Micro, September 1-4, to name a few of the upcoming meetings.
