MPI introduces Certified Meeting Professional Online Study Guide
In line with its mandate to deliver relevant industry educational content and learning resources to their growing global community, MPI has introduced a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Online Study Guide. Created in partnership with Arizona State University and sponsored by the MPI Foundation and Wyndham Hotel Group, the study guide will be an invaluable resource for MPI’s expanding global community of meeting professionals during the CMP certification process. The MPI CMP Online Study Guide may be previewed and purchased through the MPI website at www.mpiweb.org.

The CMP designation acknowledges individuals who have achieved one of the industry's highest standards of professionalism and is overseen by the Convention Industry Council (CIC). The CMP program’s mission is “to elevate and enhance the professionalism of the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry and the dedicated individuals who are responsible for meeting management.” The CMP certification is obtained through successful completion of the CMP exam and accumulated professional experience. As the industry’s largest global community, MPI is a major channel for CMP candidates with current MPI members representing approximately 4,000 of the total 13,000+ CMPs worldwide.
