Avis and Budget car rentals join choice privilages rewards programme
Choice Hotels International announced that Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car have become new partners to the Choice Privileges rewards programme. Effective immediately, Choice Privileges members can earn 750 points on Avis and Budget rentals of one to three days and 1,000 points for rentals of four days or more just by providing their Choice Privileges member numbers at the time of reservation. In addition, members can save up to 25 percent off Avis car rentals when they mention the Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) number W661100. Members can save up to 20 percent on Budget rentals when they utilise Budget Customer Discount (BCD) number Z959200 at the time of reservation.

Becoming a Choice Privileges member is free and members earn ten points per every U.S dollar equivalent spent at hotels. Choice Privileges members also enjoy express check-in, extended check-out, and the opportunity to redeem points for free nights at over 5,500 properties throughout Europe, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Members can also redeem points at luxury partner hotels, such as Preferred Hotels & Resorts, and through airline partners including American, Qantas and Delta.
