Environmental management seminar at Novotel
Hotel employees are being invited to take part in an information seminar<.> on ISO<.> 14000 environmental standards and environmental management, to be held at the Athens Novotel in March.
The 20-hour seminar will take place at the hotel from March 2-4 and has been organised by the non-profit Clean Up Greece organisation, a member of the international Clean Up the World body, together with the TUV Austria Hellas organisation.
Participants will study the advantages of applying ISO 14000 standards at hotels and look at how several units have successfully introduced these measures along with ISO 9000, while ISO 14001 shall also be discussed.
Speakers will include professors and environmental experts from TUV Austria Hellas. Those taking part will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the seminar. Vicky Karantzavelou - Monday, January 31, 2000
