Turismo Madrid, a seven-star offer for FITUR’09
Gastronomy, folklore and the capital’s vast range of cultural, artistic and museum offers will be the letter of introduction for Turismo Madrid at this edition of the Trade Fair. The stand, composed by seven stars, in reference to the regional flag, will present Madrid’s tourist offer in a graphic and visual manner. Turismo Madrid visits FITUR’09 with an innovative and attractive proposal that will introduce professionals and visitors to the possibilities of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. Seven stars, the image of the regional flag, will articulate the space and the content and will act as supports for a photographic exhibition devoted to the main tourist spots in the region.
The modules, with sizes varying depending on the thematic content, will present a different and graphic image of the municipalities, leisure, gastronomy, museums, monuments and architecture of Madrid. Over five days, Turismo Madrid will use the Trade Fair to showcase programmes, activities and presentations on the tourist offering of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
The proposed activities will include a wide range of cultural programmes and a presentation of the best gastronomic products from Madrid. The stage will accommodate scenes from the best shows being performed in each municipality, including music, dance and activities for kids.
In addition, and once again proving the close connection between Turismo Madrid and Fitur, the largest star in the stand will act as the platform for Madrid’s offering with a 2.0 website that will promote the region and its position as one of the country’s main national tourist destinations.
