Delegates participated in 19 education sessions within five tracks, including the new Strategic Meetings Management track added this year, which offered insights and lessons learned when developing and enhancing meetings strategies.

NBTA President & CEO, Kevin Maguire, CCTE, GLP, said, “In today’s challenging global economy, corporate travel professionals around the world are facing new and greater managed travel challenges, and the Latin American region is no exception. To greater serve the business travel community in this vital region, NBTA and ABGEV once again joined to offer even more resources and networking opportunities than before to help address those challenges and offer solutions.”

In addition to meetings management strategies, discussions at LACTTE were focused on other important travel management issues such as service level agreements, self-booking tools, and data overflow. Corporate travel buyers attended a special buyer-only session on the value of travel management. Attendees also interacted with 14 companies exhibiting in the Trade & Technology Exchange Showcase.

ABGEV President, Vivianne Martins, said, “Once again this event has proven to be the largest and most beneficial corporate travel conference in Latin America.
