New route opening between London Gatwick and Warsaw airports
Irish airline Aer Lingus is behind the new venture which takes off on Sunday (25 October). The inaugural flight leaves London at 4.30pm, arriving in the Polish capital in time for an evening meal. The Polish National Tourist Office is delighted with the extra flights which will put Poland on the doorstep of thousands of British holidaymakers. Aer Lingus is committing itself to one flight each way every day of the week between the two capital cities.

Acting Director of the PNTO Bogdan Becla said: “It’s really great news that Aer Lingus is scheduling flights seven days a week between London and Warsaw, which makes it even easier for people to visit Poland.

“While this new route gives people more opportunities to holiday in Poland, it also reflects the popularity of our country which is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world.” Vicky Karantzavelou - Monday, October 26, 2009
