EMITT Guest Country, Egypt, launches new promotional campaign
Egypt has launched a new promotional campaign with the slogan, “Egypt... where it all begins”. The new slogan reflects the country’s diversity, developed over the ages, which enables visitors to sample both ancient civilisation and a modern lifestyle. The new slogan will be visible at this year’s EMITT exhibition, Turkey’s largest international travel event, which takes place in February.

The new slogan will be complemented by a new logo combining two striking colours: the colour of lapis lazuli, the Ancient Egyptians’ favourite stone in jewellery which also reflects the vivid blue of Egypt’s seas and sky, and gold, a symbol of wealth and luxury within the Pharaonic culture.

The Egypt stand at EMITT will demonstrate a variety of different travel opportunities in the country, including health tourism, desert, culture, adventure, convention, holiday, sport, gold, diving and shopping. As a tourist destination, the country offers new experiences, exciting adventures and captivating stories to tell.

During the exhibition, there will be a press conference dedicated to tourism in Egypt and a special Egyptian Night has been planned, involving traditional dancing. The Egypt stand will also capture the attention of visitors by offering traditional Egyptian drinks, such as Karkade, as well as regular Tanora dances.
