Gaylord Hotels has agreed to become the Platinum Sponsor for the second Hotel Data Conference. The Hotel Data Conference, presented by Gaylord Hotels, will be held 4-5 August 2010 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville.
“Having Gaylord see the conference as a viable marketing vehicle is an important step in the development of the Hotel Data Conference,” said Mark Lomanno, president of STR. “It helps emphasize the impact the conference has already made on industry executives’ ability to understand the value of diving deeper into hospitality data to make meaningful strategic decisions. We are pleased to have them on board.”
"The Hotel Data Conference is an unique opportunity to further explore the various layers of data the hotel industry uses to help make important decisions about pricing, operational issues, development and future travel trends," said Peter Weien, senior vice president and general manager of Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. "We're proud to be the Platinum Sponsor of an event that focuses on educating the industry about trends and issues that affect day-to-day operations and long-term, strategic business decisions. It is a one-of-a-kind event that should be on the calendars of professionals ranging from hotel-company executives to developers to revenue-management experts."
Topics scheduled to be covered during the conference include: U.S. hotel industry overview of historical performance; U.S. hotel industry forecast perspectives from hospitality experts; business and leisure traveler sentiment trends; and effects of pricing decisions during recessionary times.
A special room rate at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center has been arranged for conference attendees. Visit the venue tab on HotelDataConference.com to book at the special rate.
