NTA welcomes travel agents to Montage

NTA, the leading association for travel professionals, invites travel agents to Montage, its new international business event. Set in Seville, Spain, April 14-17, Montage is a global gathering of travel buyers and sellers that combines serious business with casual networking.

“Montage will give travel agents access to new tour operator connections and business development opportunities,” said Lisa Simon, CTP, NTA president. “We currently have NTA members from nine countries registered for the event and the list is growing. With a strong contingent from the U.S. and Canada, agents involved with any aspect of North American travel -inbound or outbound- will want to join us.”

Travel agents in attendance will include members of the National Association of Career Travel Agents, a strategic partner of NTA. Also, NACTA President Scott Koepf will host a session on how to boost tour operator business by working with travel agents and, in particular, the growing number of home-based and independent agents.

“Our members who have attended NTA events say they come back with invaluable contacts from the networking opportunities,” Koepf said. “They are able to differentiate their products and offer unique and exciting trips for their clients. Plus, this is a unique opportunity to visit a part of the world at a great rate and participate in exciting tours of the destination.”

Montage offers a half-day trade show for product development, professional development with education seminars including a three-part series on social media, networking events and leisure activities in Seville. Besides the United States and Canada, other countries to be represented at Montage include Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Argentina and Slovakia.
