Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of SCTA, inaugurated the electronic licensing system travel and tourism agencies in the Kingdom. The inauguration ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Commission recently.
Following the inauguration ceremony, Prince Sultan honored the project's team, and stressed on the importance of maintaining momentum in the field of electronic transactions, which is helping SCTA and private sector to develop interrelations through the latest technology going forward.
And expressed his personal support to SCTA's outstanding national cadres, and investing in them with necessary training. At the end of the ceremony, Prince Sultan handed over the merit certificates to the members of the team.
The licensing system comes as extension to the electronic applications applied by SCTA in-line with the draft e-governance project, in which SCTA has reached advanced stages. This e-program is SCTA's fourth program, after e-systems for tourism trip organizers, tourism guides and timeshare.
