Hellenic Cruises Corp, Greek Hotels and Cruise Reservations Center sponsored by the Hellenic American Chamber of Tourism would like to announce the second Fam Trip for 2010. The “Athens and Greek Islands Educational Fam Trip” is an 8 day familiarization trip for American and Canadian Travel Agents. The trip will include a 3 night stay in Athens, including a 1 day event with morning presentations and evening networking with local suppliers on September 29th, 2 nights at Mykonos and 2 nights at Santorini including hotel inspections in each destination. We also offer the possibility to visit Crete by adding 2 days at the end.
This trip is focused on educating the foreign agents as to the wide range of the Greek product which offers a great variety in terms of destinations, types of accommodation, activities, as well as, the special forms of tourism (City Breaks, Cultural, Sightseeing, Congress and Incentive, Sun/Sea, Luxury, Business). It also gives them a chance to familiarize themselves with the Greek products, along with gaining direct supplier contacts and become “Ambassadors to Greece” in their home countries and local market.
The previous “Explore Greece” Fam Trip in April 2010, was deemed very successful by both foreign travel agents and local suppliers and we expect that this trip will have an even greater appeal.
