Flight search and booking even easier: lufthansa.com with new navigation

Navigation made easier and quicker on the Lufthansa website lufthansa.com: the new main navigation and a new page structure now provide customers with a better website overview and facilitate intuitive capture of required information. The contents of each category from “Book & Plan“, ”Offers & Ideas“ “My Bookings“, “Information & Service” or “Miles & More“ are all within easy reach from every page.  Simply moving the cursor to a main navigation point opens up a list of sub-categories in a drop-down menu. In the “Book & Plan“ category, for example, the drop-down menu lists “Book flights“ and the ”Timetable” as well as the Lufthansa “Trip finder” with inspiration for customers on destinations to fly to. A single click on either brings the required content within immediate view.

Additionally, a social bookmarking function on the Lufthansa website enables customers to share Lufthansa flight options and interesting information about Lufthansa services quickly and easily with friends. All that’s needed to keep friends posted is a click on “Share“ at the bottom of each page to select a social network, be it Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, studiVZ or MySpace. Information on the Lufthansa timetable app, for example, or the latest Lufthansa offers, which could also be of interest to friends, will then show up on the customer’s social network profile.
