P J Hayman comments on Foreign Office report into “British Behaviour Abroad”

The Foreign Office launched their report “British Behaviour Abroad” which highlights the importance of travel Insurance especially for older consumers and those with pre-existing medical conditions. Peter Hayman, Director of P J Hayman, specialist travel insurance and schemes provider, comments:

“Older travellers can sometimes assume they don’t need travel insurance as they will not be engaging in potentially hazardous behaviours – that younger age groups might - while they are abroad.  However, they are more likely to have pre-existing medical conditions or to fall ill due to age related complaints and incur costly treatment. The Foreign Office report highlights the importance of obtaining appropriate travel insurance irrespective of your age.”
