Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury Collection in Greece extends special booking offers

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and the Luxury Collection in Greece are extending an array of special offers and packages for select dates through fall 2010 and into 2011. Participating properties offer guests an opportunity to enhance their travel experience and save while visiting this historic and storied destination with some of the world’s most stunning landscapes and cultural monuments.

The “Welcome to Greece” Program:
The Luxury Collection introduces the “Welcome to Greece” program. This unique and flexible travel package offers guests the ability to individualize their itineraries when making multiple reservations over seven nights at any combination of Luxury Collection properties at low fixed US dollar rates. Participating hotels include the new Romanos in Costa Navarino; Hotel Grand Bretagne in Athens; Santa Marina in Mykonos; Vedema Resort and the Mystique Hotel in Santorini; Blue Palace Resort & Spa in Elounda and the Arion Resort & Spa located in the Astir Palace of Athens.

Nightly rates start at $650 for a double room in July and August 2010. In September and October, guests will find lower rates starting at $405 for a double room. From November 2010 to March 2011, nightly rates start at just $320 for a double room. Additional category prices available.

Luxury Collection Discounts and Special Offers:
The recently opened Romanos in Costa Navarino is offering a number of complimentary upgrades for October 2010 reservations. Guests will receive an upgrade from a superior room to an infinity room with sea view or when booking a premium room will receive an infinity suite with private swimming pool. Guests will also receive 15% off services at the Spa Thalassotherapy, 20% off green fees at the Dunes Golf Course and receive a complimentary bottle of locally grown Costa Navarino wine and mineral water upon arrival along with a souvenir gift from Messenia upon departure.
The Vedema Resort, Santorini is offering the following August and October specials including arrival greeting with traditional Cretan liquor, seasonal fruits and a selection of Greek delicacies:
- October reservations will receive a complimentary upgrade from double rooms to suites
- For reservations from August 22 to 31 and through the month of October, guests will receive a confirmed upgrade from a double room to a Superior Bungalow with a sea view and private pool.
- Also in October, guests can upgrade from a suite to a Deluxe Suite with a sea view and private pool.
Guests booking at Arion Resort & Spa, Athens September 1st through December 31, 2010 will receive a complimentary upgrade based on availability, wine and fruit upon arrival, a daily newspaper, complimentary access to the Arion Spa’s amenities and 15% off spa treatments.

Hotel Grand Bretagne, Athens is offering guests a complimentary upgrade, subject to availability, as well as 15% off all spa services and a selection of hand-made chocolates and mineral water upon arrival for bookings though 2010.

Guests at the Santa Marina in Mykonos will receive accommodations in a Deluxe Sea View room or suite, welcome amenities, 20% off spa treatments and complimentary Wi-Fi for bookings through September 29, 2010.
