CEB’s thrice weekly service will commence when the flight departs Manila at 7:35pm and arrives in Beijing at 12:05am. The return flight will depart Beijing at 01:00am and arrive in Manila at 05:30am.
To promote further awareness for its China flights, CEB slashes up to 66% off the airline’s lowest year-round ‘Go Lite’ fares in a seat sale until August 31, 2010 or until seats last, for travel from October 1 to November 30, 2010.
Guests traveling from Hong Kong to Clark can avail of HKD 110 ‘Go Lite’ fares, while those traveling to Manila can avail of HKD 150 ‘Go Lite’ fares. Also up for grabs are HKD 180 ‘Go Lite’ fares from Hong Kong to Cebu.
Those with check-in luggage will just add HKD 18 upon booking.
“We are excited to begin our Beijing operations, as it will signify better connectivity for our passengers to the Philippines and the Asia-Pacific region. This China seat sale is part of our commitment to offer the lowest possible fares, and more opportunities for convenient connecting flights to the region’s tourist destinations,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
From Manila, Cebu and Clark, passengers from Hong Kong can connect to the most extensive network in the country. CEB flies to 32 other domestic destinations, including Laoag, Cebu, Boracay (Caticlan), Coron (Busuanga) and Siargao, among others.
Asia’s third-largest low-cost carrier, CEB flies to a total of 16 international destinations, using the youngest aircraft fleet in the country. It is the only low-cost carrier operating from the Philippines to all three major North Asian countries of China, South Korea and Japan.
From Manila, passengers from Hong Kong can also connect to Brunei, Singapore, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Osaka, Seoul (Incheon), Busan, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Macau and Taipei.
