Clean up the Med campaign
An Italian environmental organisation hosted a campaign on the weekend aimed at cleaning up the Mediterranean<.>.
The non-profit Legambiente<.> group oversaw the initiative, entitled Clean up the Med, in which Crete`s Fodele Beach hotel participated. Government agencies and local businesses assisted to collect rubbish from the Fodele beach area and sea as part of national efforts coordinated by Greece`s Arctouros environmental organisation.
