Changes at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris
Three airlines are changing terminals at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. These changes are a result of the May 23rd terminal collapse of Terminal 2E. Effective immediately:

Terminal 2E is comprised of three buildings: The Central Part, which houses the reception and check-in desks on the Departures Level, the baggage reclaim area on the Arrivals Level, and restaurants and shops; The Central Concourse, which houses the security check-points, airline lounges, the duty-free shopping area and the baggage sorting zone; and The Boarding Lounge or Pier, a 650 m building adjacent to the aircraft parking stands for passenger boarding and arrival operations. Transit passengers also pass through this building. This zone is classified as a restricted area under the authority of the Customs Authorities where access is strictly controlled. It was in this building that the accident occurred.

The refurbishment project of this terminal, representing a global investment of 750 million Euros (construction and facilities) includes car parking facilities and the future automatic baggage sorting system, less than 150 million of which was attributed to the boarding lounge.
