Jamaica tourism update
The Hon. Aloun N`Dombet-Assamba, Minister of Industry and Tourism, says that recovery efforts are moving forward towards restoring life back to normal in Jamaica. She expresses her thanks and gratitude to fellow Jamaicans and visitors who continue to demonstrate courage, cooperation, and faith during the recovery process.

The following update reflects all confirmed information the Jamaica Tourist Board has received regarding infrastructure, airlines, seaports, resort regions and hotel status.

Overall Assessment:
The majority of roads are opened. Water, electricity and communication services have been restored to a significant portion of the country. Many hotels reported limited or no structural damage. Programs are underway to clean up debris and restore landscaping.

Airports:
Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston are open and fully operational.

Cruises:
Ports are operational and accepting ships.

Airlines:
The following airlines have resumed service to Jamaica from the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Charters have resumed service as well.
