Thursday, July 28, 2005
Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski has condoled with President Hosni Mubarak over the death of victims of Sharm el- Sheikh bombings on Saturday, the press counsellor at the Polish embassy in Cairo said on Tuesday.

The Polish diplomat pointed out that Polish tourists spending their vacation in the Red Sea resort had insisted to remain in the city.

Only 20 out of 1,700 Polish tourists in the city had decided to leave for home.

The others decided to remain until the end of their scheduled trips.

Polish tourists usually spend their holidays in Hurghada. There are now 10,000 Polish tourists in the city, he said.
