Monday, August 15, 2005
EgyptAir resumed its direct flights between Cyprus and Sharm El-Sheikh following a two-week cancellation in the aftermath of the Sharm bombings, this was announced by EgyptAir manager Mohamed Mubarak.

He noted that EgyptAir runs two weekly flights from Cyprus to Sharm El-Sheikh given the large number of Cypriot tourists in the Red Sea resorts and their interest in visiting Saint Catherine`s Monastery in South Sinai.

Three-weekly flights are also run from Cyprus to Cairo.
