Denmark lifts warnings against travel to Sinai
Monday, August 15, 2005
The Foreign Ministry of Egypt received a notice from the Danish Foreign Ministry that it had issued a decision on lifting warning against traveling to Sinai in the wake of the blasts that took place last month in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh.

Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit welcomed the decision, adding that such a measure underlined international trust in security in Egypt.

Abul-Gheit had sent a message to his Danish counterpart-Per Stig Moller urging him to lift warnings from traveling to Sinai as other countries have done.
