Meeting Information Network announces a 40% increase in new organization profiles
Tuesday, September 27, 2005
The Meeting Information Network (MINT) gives subscribing bureaus the power to search an extensive database of organization and meeting records contributed by 150+ member CVBs worldwide. The database currently offers increasing value to our subscribing bureaus, providing access to profiles on almost 16,000 organizations, nearly 32,000 meetings and more than 81,000 post-convention reports for potential leads, lead verification, and convention center feasibility studies.

In 2005, the number of new organization profiles increased 40% over 2004. There was also a 36% increase in meeting profiles entered in 2005 over the previous year. These outstanding results are thanks to our MINT subscribers.

Each year the association recognizes the highest-reporting bureaus for their contributions to MINT. Thank you and congratulations to the following coordinators and their bureaus for their diligent work and continued support of MINT!

they will have temporary and minimal effect and the situation will stabilize in a year or two

we should be looking at a restructuring in the international tourism movements and trends

it is still too early to access the impact on world tourism, medium or long term
