OA offers travelers special rates from Athens&Thessaloniki

In the framework of raising their revenues, Greek national air carrier Olympic Airways<.> announced a group of special rates for its European flights last week. The new flights, all round-trip, and which concern flights departing from Athens and Thessaloniki, are until June 16th, 2001 and only are valid for weekend getaways or trips with a maximum of fourteen day stay. More precisely, the Athens-Rome route is now offered at 58,000 Drs round-trip, while Copenhagen can now be visited round-trip for 79.900 Drs., and round-trip flights to cities such as Monaco, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Zurich and London will now be offered to travelers at 89.900 Drs. All the aforementioned flights are from the Eleftherios Venizelos airport in Athens only.
From the northern city of Thessaloniki all flights departing from the Macedonian capital to cities such as Rome will cost travelers 58,000 Drs round-trip, while a round-trip flight to Brussels and/ or Amsterdam will now cost 79,000. Flights from Thessaloniki to cities such as Zurich and Copenhagen will now cost 89,000 Drs round trip.
