Hertz UAE expands car rental network with Abu Dhabi location
Friday, December 30, 2005
Hertz UAE has created another link in its expanding network of car rental branches by opening a new location in Abu Dhabi. The new branch is strategically located within the Musaffah area of the capital and Hertz UAE expects it to soon become one of their busiest sites.

The opening of the Musaffah branch means that Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim Group of companies, now has three offices in Abu Dhabi and brings the total number of locations across the UAE to 13. Other branches are located in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

“Our fleet grew by 30 per cent per last year and our revenue increased by 45 per cent. Expanding and upgrading our network of car rental branches is vital if we want this growth pattern to continue,” said Bob Farrow, general manager of Hertz UAE.

Poll
How will the currently developing financial crisis and oil prices rally affect the tourism industry?.

they will have temporary and minimal effect and the situation will stabilize in a year or two

we should be looking at a restructuring in the international tourism movements and trends

it is still too early to access the impact on world tourism, medium or long term

we will see more tourism closer to home, and less international travel
