Viking Airlines launches direct flights from Stockholm to Beirut and Athens

The Swedish carrier Viking Airlines announces that it will launch scheduled direct flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Beirut from 16 March and to Athens starting 31 March.
The schedule includes weekly flights to Athens, departing from Stockholm on Fridays and departing from Athens on Tuesdays.
The Athens’ schedule is intended to suit weekend travelers as well as those who want to experience the Greek archipelago by themselves. During the summer period return flights from Santorini to Stockholm are available, increasing the flexibility. The flights between Stockholm and Beirut will to take place every Thursday.
Since December 2005 Viking Airlines, operates weekly direct flights from Stockholm to Erbil in Iraq on behalf of Online Air Service.
To enable uncomplicated distribution of the marketed products, Viking Airlines has chosen to utilize the airline reservation system and travel distribution network that is provided by Nextres.
Viking Airlines started operations on 10 May 2003 and operates three McDonnell Douglas MD83. Viking Airlines, with head office in Stockholm and aircraft bases in Heraklion, Athens (Greece) and Manchester (UK), operates charter flights on behalf of tour operators throughout Europe.
