Exhibit space for the 2006 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) is 92 percent sold out, making it vital for interested companies to reserve space. The exhibit floor was recently expanded by 21 additional booths to accomodate the new GUESTROOM 2010 pavilion. The area will feature a guestroom prototype and displays featuring some of the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room.
Exhibitors will use HITEC 2006, June 19-22 in Minneapolis, to announce new products and alliances, as well as to feature the most current in hospitality technology products and services for guestrooms, front office, food & beverage, operations, sales, security and more.
The number of HITEC exhibits has increased significantly from 252 booths in 1993 to more than 625 booths in 2005. HITEC attendance has also greatly increased from its small beginning with approximately 38 attendees for its 1972 debut to a planned attendance of over 5,000 for this year`s show.
Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), HITEC 2006 will also offer more than 35 education sessions presented by the world`s foremost hospitality technology experts. This year`s sessions have a range of topics such as the Club Technology Boot Camp, Lessons From Tourism Technology, Booking Engines, What to Look for When Purchasing High Speed Internet Access, Property Management, VoIP and Customer Relationship Management.
