U.S. Department of Commerce promote IAAPA attractions expo

IAAPA announced the IAAPA Attractions Expo has been accepted into the International Buyers Program from the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) for 2006 and 2007. Each year, the DOC selects 28 U.S. trade shows to promote worldwide through their global network of embassies, consulates, and commercial centers. Through this program, the DOC brings thousands of international buyers to meet with U.S. companies.
“Being selected by the DOC to be a part of this program signifies the IAAPA Attractions Expo makes great contributions and has a great effect on the business of its industry,” said Charlie Bray, president and CEO of IAAPA. “More importantly, our U.S. exhibitors will have the ability to utilize top-notch resources and assistance for attracting more non-U.S. buyers and business prospects.”
U.S. exhibitors that are participants of the International Buyer Program receive valuable benefits including opportunities to meet with qualified foreign buyers, representatives, and distributors from all over the world; worldwide promotion of products and services through the Export Interest Directory; access to hundreds of current international trade leads; and, export counseling and marketing analysis.
The IAAPA Attractions Expo is the largest annual conference and trade show for the amusement industry and draws attendees from nearly 85 countries. The trade show and conference include showcases of the latest products in the amusement and attractions industry, educational seminars and networking events. IAAPA Attractions Expo 2006 will take place November 13-18, 2006, in Atlanta, Georgia, and IAAPA Attractions Expo 2007 will take place November 12-17, 2007, in Orlando, Florida.
